Amy always knew that she wanted to help people and began her career as a Social Worker, with a special interest in Eating Disorders. She was fascinated in the psychology behind why people struggle with food and weight. After helping to create one of Calgary’s first Eating Disorder programs she decided she wanted to share her own love for health and nutrition with others in a more uplifting way and became a Nutritional Therapist and over time a Certified Eating Psychology Coach. Her mission is for every client to find their sacred, loving and meaningful connection to food, life, body and self.
Whether you work with Amy in one-on one consultation, journey through her programs, receive beautiful essential oil treatments, read her book and articles, attend her workshops, classes or lectures, you will realize you are not engaging in the normal exchange with nutritionist and client. It is not about generic meal plans with simple advice about calories and carbs. You will find yourself in the company of a scholar, a healer, a nutritional sage and an inspired human being. With an open heart and inquiring mind Amy will accompany you on a journey to knowing yourself in a whole new conscious way and will inspire, educate and guide you to nourish your body, mind and soul so you can live your most vibrant, energetic and fulfilling life.
When Amy is not inspiring and guiding change in her clients, she is raising her 2 beautiful children with her husband Joe and optimizing her own health and vitality by eating well, working out, walking her dog Bagel, using essential oils, spending time in nature and going to the spa!
I want every woman that I come to work with to find her peace, her love, her flow, her ease, her trust, her pleasure, her pure enjoyment with every bite of food. I want to awaken women to connect to body wisdom, to Mother Nature, to their intuitive eater within.
I want to help women heal whatever is at the root of their unwanted eating challenges and weight issues and help them make the connections between their unresolved stresses and traumas that may be the very reason for the manifestation of illness, symptom and imbalance in her body.
It is my mission to inspire women to find her mission and purpose in life and all the things that fulfill her so she no longer uses food for fulfillment, but rather for the energy to do what she loves to do. I wish for every woman to find her sacred, loving and meaningful connection to food, her life, her body and herself.
